Deborah Heart and Lung Center has announced the winners of its Time Capsule Competition, sponsored for area students in celebration of the hospital’s 90th Anniversary. Deborah Heart and Lung Center asked students for their best guesses as to what will be obsolete in 2022 – Deborah’s 100th Anniversary Year. After careful review, the judges selected the following winners:

Winners will be honored at Deborah’s 90th Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m., when resolutions will be presented by state Senators Dawn Marie Addiego (District 8), Diane Allen (District 7), Joseph F. Vitale (District 19), Assemblymen Christopher J. Brown, Scott Rudder, Troy Singleton and Herb Conaway, as well as the Burlington County Freeholders and Pemberton Township Officials.
New Jersey Hospital Association President and CEO Elizabeth A. Ryan, Esq. and New Jersey Department of Health Acting Deputy Commissioner Bill Conroy will be on hand to assist the students fill the time capsule with the winning items. “Who knows if their predictions are right?” said Deborah President and CEO Joseph P. Chirichella. “But in ten years when Deborah turns 100, we will open this time capsule -- as well as two others buried on our property -- and we will be able to look back and reflect on these youngsters’ visions of the future.”
