HealthGrades patient-preferred doctors list is compiled based on lack
of state and federal sanctions, no malpractice judgements, and holding required board certifications. In addition to the physician meeting all these requirements, each one must also obtain a “definitely yes” or “mostly yes” average score in reference to “Would you recommend this physician to family or friends?” on patient experience survey results.
