When it comes to emergency medicine, speed is of critical importance. Beginning in early March, residents of Burlington, Ocean and
Mercer counties will have improved access to health care with the opening of the Lourdes Emergency Department at DEBORAH.
Operated by Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County, the emergency department on the campus of Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills will offer ambulances and walk-in patients convenient access to advanced emergency care around the clock. The project is a result of an agreement between Lourdes and Deborah to work jointly to improve access to emergency and primary care services in the county and surrounding communities.
