One of only nine heart centers selected in Philadelphia and the surrounding region
Deborah Heart and Lung Center, a specialty heart, lung and vascular hospital in Browns Mills has been selected as one of nine heart hospitals designated as “the best places to go for expert treatment” by Philadelphia Magazine.
Deborah was cited for its three-star designation given by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. This rating was earned by only 12 percent of heart centers nationwide and meets the magazine’s criteria for inclusion as “the hospitals and medical centers that deliver the very highest level of expertise.”
“I am pleased to see that we are recognized as a quality leader in the Delaware Valley,” said Deborah President and CEO John Ernst. “Although Deborah is tucked in a rural setting, we offer a facility that is on a par, or better, than our counterparts in big cities. For patients who want to avoid the long traveling times and additional expenses associated with traveling over the bridges out of state, a reminder from a publication like Philadelphia Magazine is that by choosing Deborah, they are choosing the very best heart care available on the market.”
